Our story
Plenum started with a simple frustration: there was no single app that handled the daily logistics of family life without compromising on privacy, bombarding kids with ads, or selling data to the highest bidder.
We looked at what was available — big tech family apps that treat your data as their product, social networks too unsafe for children, or a patchwork of separate apps that never quite work together. None of it felt right.
So we built the app we wanted for our own families. One that handles calendars, chat, todos, and location sharing in a single place. One that's safe for kids and respects everyone's privacy. One where the family owns its data, always.
What drives us
Simplicity
Family life is complicated enough. The tools you use shouldn't be. We obsess over making Plenum simple and intuitive for every family member, from 6 to 60.
Trust
We don't track you. We don't profile you. We don't sell your data. We earn your trust by being transparent about what we do and, more importantly, what we don't.
Craft
We care about the details. Clean code, thoughtful design, reliable infrastructure. Plenum is built to last, not to chase trends or growth at all costs.
Based in Denmark, hosted in France
We're a Danish company with our servers in France. That means your family data is protected by some of the strongest privacy laws in the world (GDPR) and never leaves the EU.
We chose France for hosting because of its excellent infrastructure and strong commitment to digital sovereignty. We chose Denmark because it's home.
